The FC Barrera 2.0 fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when FC Barrera 2.0's Cacey Sharp looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Carlos Augusto Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cacey Sharp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When FC Barrera 2.0's Cacey Sharp in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Várzea F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 17th minute Cacey Sharp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Augusto Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Valdomiro Duarte kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving CJ Buffon. That made the score 1-1 in the 18 minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Várzea F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cacey Sharp came free, but Carlos Augusto Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute FC Barrera 2.0 were awarded a corner. Lachezar Kavaldzhiev went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FC Barrera 2.0's Mao Zhen to fire away a dangerous shot which Carlos Augusto Quintal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. CJ Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdomiro Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Carlos Augusto Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cacey Sharp in the 30th minute of the match. FC Barrera 2.0's CJ Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé Montenegro in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Cacey Sharp made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Augusto Quintal. Várzea F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Cacey Sharp might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Augusto Quintal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cacey Sharp ran back to his position shaking his head. Várzea F.C.'s Carlos Augusto Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cacey Sharp in the 42nd minute of play. Carlos Augusto Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mao Zhen in the 46th minute of play. After the first half FC Barrera 2.0 were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 54th minute, Cacey Sharp made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Augusto Quintal. Várzea F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After 57 minutes, Cacey Sharp made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Várzea F.C.'s Carlos Augusto Quintal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Barrera 2.0 made a substitution. Dadá Maravilha replaced Cacey Sharp. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dadá Maravilha in the 65th minute of play forced Várzea F.C.'s goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Várzea F.C.'s zone, Dadá Maravilha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Augusto Quintal came out of the goal and Dadá Maravilha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Várzea F.C.'s Gustavo Porto was substituted for Daniel Isăceanu. FC Barrera 2.0 made a substitution. Sidnei Donato replaced Mao Zhen. 73 minutes into the match, Várzea F.C.'s goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Quintal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dadá Maravilha. Dadá Maravilhas short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Carlos Augusto Quintal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Han Chao Sang got free with Carlos Augusto Quintal in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valdomiro Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without CJ Buffon having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Valdomiro Duarte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. CJ Buffon was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Carlos Augusto Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Han Chao Sang in the 87th minute of play. Carlos Augusto Quintal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dadá Maravilha in the 89th minute. With a little luck, Várzea F.C.'s Carlos Augusto Quintal got control of the ball when Sidnei Donato tried to sneak it across the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, FC Barrera 2.0's goal looked a bit too open when Valdomiro Duarte came free, but CJ Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CJ Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdomiro Duarte in the 95th minute of the match. The Várzea F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Barrera 2.0's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Barrera 2.0.
