Karl-Erik Hellström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júnior Zanette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor Sena might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Erik Hellström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Sena ran back to his position shaking his head. 19 minutes into the match, Internazionale-RS's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Hellström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Sena. In the 21st minute, Joinville Esporte Clube's René Peterek seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed René Peterek the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Joinville Esporte Clube protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and René Peterek had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 22nd minute, Batiste Carrez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Internazionale-RS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After having played for 25 minutes, Juarês Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Internazionale-RS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juarês Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michel Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Lynch in the 29th minute of play forced Joinville Esporte Clube's goalkeeper A.J. 韩文海 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A.J. 韩文海 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Lynch, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The supporters of Internazionale-RS booed when Joinville Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Gimeno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joinville Esporte Clube's A.J. 韩文海 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Lynch in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Moisés Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The wind increased when Victor Sena made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alan Tavares got free with A.J. 韩文海 in the 50th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aloísio Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When Júnior Zanette came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Joinville Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júnior Zanette couldn't finish the play. Alan Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without A.J. 韩文海 having to interfere. A collision led to Joinville Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Serginho Busquets hit a great ball. Karl-Erik Hellström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Zanette in the 62nd minute of play. Joinville Esporte Clube's Gino Vander was substituted for Kong Sang Han. Joinville Esporte Clube's Amauri Vieira was substituted for Serginho Busquets. Joinville Esporte Clube's Jerry Uchiha was substituted for Victor Sena. In the 65th minute Joinville Esporte Clube were awarded a corner. Júnior Zanette went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Júnior Zanette almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Internazionale-RS's Karl-Erik Hellström did a great save. The supporters of Joinville Esporte Clube booed when Internazionale-RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Alberto Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Rogelio Lynch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Internazionale-RS's Alan Tavares in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Joinville Esporte Clube's goalie prevented a goal. Carlos Alberto Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. A.J. 韩文海 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jerry Uchiha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Erik Hellström having to interfere. After 78 played minutes Joinville Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Gimeno. A.J. 韩文海 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batiste Carrez in the 84th minute of play. Jerry Uchiha took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Erik Hellström. Karl-Erik Hellström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 94th minute, Batiste Carrez made a precise shot to the right of A.J. 韩文海. Joinville Esporte Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The Internazionale-RS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
