After a rather tough play, Internazionale-RS's Dany-Adams De Scheper got a free kick in the 27th minute. Karl-Erik Hellström came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Joinville Esporte Clube's Victor Sena. But to his dismay, Victor Sena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 32nd minute, Guillermo Gimeno made a precise shot to the right of Karl-Erik Hellström. Internazionale-RS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3.
