A collision led to Brazil Academy getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Zé Paulo Campidelis hit a great ball. Modesto Atarratze could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Marcelo Mangueira made a huge save. Rony Aparecido kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Modesto Atarratze succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 28th playminute. After some careless play in the Montalcino SE defense, Zé Paulo Campidelis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdomiro Ferraz. The Montalcino SE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdomiro Ferraz should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute, Montalcino SE's Dino Nicolini ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcelo Mangueira. Marcelo Mangueira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. With an all-out effort, Montalcino SE's Marcelo Mangueira threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Almir Valadares, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Brazil Academy's Marcelo Mangueira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Brazil Academy from getting a goal against them. When Gildo Braga fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brazil Academy's protests and gave Gildo Braga a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes Brazil Academy got a freekick which was hit by Gildo Braga. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The wind increased when Nicolas Espiridion made the kick off in the second half. Nicolas Espiridion took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Mangueira. Marcelo Mangueira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Nicolini in the 57th minute of play forced Brazil Academy's goalkeeper Marcelo Mangueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brazil Academy's Marcelo Mangueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Nicolini in the 59th minute of play. Zé Paulo Campidelis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valdomiro Ferraz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Perivaldo Paiva took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Mangueira. Marcelo Mangueira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Brazil Academy's Marcelo Mangueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Espiridion in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Perivaldo Paiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Mangueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Montalcino SE's Válter Cearense was substituted for Almir Valadares. After a defensive mix-up in Brazil Academy's zone, Isaltino Figueiredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Mangueira came out of the goal and Isaltino Figueiredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelo Mangueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Espiridion, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 87 played minutes Brazil Academy got a freekick which was hit by Dino Senna. After having played for 87 minutes, Leonardo de Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montalcino SE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo de Godoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valdomiro Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Paulo Campidelis, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Zé Paulo Campidelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdomiro Ferraz having to interfere. Montalcino SE walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
