Eriberto Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinho Arantes in the 29th minute of the match. Eriberto Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Huang Yi Qian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Engenheiros da Vila getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Christiano Ronaldo hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Engenheiros da Vila defense, Edinho Arantes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eriberto Queirós. The Engenheiros da Vila fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eriberto Queirós should have stopped the shot. Eriberto Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinho Arantes in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half MALZBIER were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

MALZBIER's Onurhan Aydoğan was substituted for Gonçalo Montenegro. MALZBIER made a substitution. Kang Chen Xiong replaced Dudu Alvarenga. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Huang Yi Qian was the one to do the kick off. The referee ignored MALZBIER's protests and gave Ali Erdem Özalpsan a yellow card for diving instead. Félix Mielle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eriberto Queirós came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by MALZBIER's Yuri Loureiro. But to his dismay, Yuri Loureiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. A collision led to MALZBIER getting a freekick after 96 minutes play.
