Spectators: 149 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carlos Santana kicked off to start the match. Leon Kosmatka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Santana in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute, Carlos Santana made a precise shot to the right of Leon Kosmatka. INTER FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, INTER FC's Marco Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronaldo Giovanelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 11 minutes Galo do Japi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emerson Cruz who took care of the corner kick. In the 16th minute Carlos Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Kosmatka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Emerson Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Santana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leon Kosmatka having to make a save. In the 24th minute Carlos Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Kosmatka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 minutes, Carlos Santana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galo do Japi and the INTER FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carlos Santana might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leon Kosmatka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Santana ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice moves Carlos Santana could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Leon Kosmatka however easily saved by the left post. Leon Kosmatka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Santana's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Leon Kosmatka skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 41 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Seco came free, but Ronaldo Giovanelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Galo do Japi's Carlos Santana in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye INTER FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emerson Cruz made a kick off. Leon Kosmatka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute Carlos Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Kosmatka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Carlos Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galo do Japi's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Santana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Kosmatka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ronaldo Giovanelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emerson Cruz in the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind INTER FC's goalkeeper Leon Kosmatka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute Carlos Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Kosmatka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Carlos Santana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Kosmatka was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. 71 minutes into the match, INTER FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Santana came free, but Leon Kosmatka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon Kosmatka came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Galo do Japi's Cléberson Lara. But to his dismay, Cléberson Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 79th minute Carlos Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Kosmatka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albertinho Meireles kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Leon Kosmatka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Santana in the 84th minute of play. Galo do Japi were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after INTER FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cafu Ringaa took the corner. The corner led Galo do Japi's Paulo Renato Saraiva to fire away a dangerous shot which Leon Kosmatka despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 88th minute, Carlos Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Santana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leon Kosmatka having to make a save. Leon Kosmatka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the INTER FC defense, Carlos Santana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leon Kosmatka. The INTER FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leon Kosmatka should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Galo do Japi's zone, Marco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldo Giovanelli came out of the goal and Marco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Galo do Japi fully deserved thier win.
