Leon Kosmatka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. A throw-in in the 10th minute of the game was made by Kléber do Valle with Fiori de Lara as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Marco Seco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ronaldo Giovanelli firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind INTER FC's goalkeeper Leon Kosmatka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17thth minute of the game Carlos Santana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but INTER FC's Leon Kosmatka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. INTER FC's Kléber do Valle quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Belmiro Caca-Rato, made in the 19th minute of the game. Carlos Santana took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leon Kosmatka. Leon Kosmatka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Leon Kosmatka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Santana in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Galo do Japi booed when INTER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardinho Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 29 played minutes Galo do Japi got a freekick which was hit by Cauan Catarinense. Ahmet Demir kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when Emerson Cruz came free, but Ronaldo Giovanelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Giovanelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Galo do Japi from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute, Marcelo Valverde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emerson Cruz in the 41st minute of play forced Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Ronaldo Giovanelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Galo do Japi's attentive Belmiro Caca-Rato managed to snatch the ball when Kléber do Valle made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. 45 minutes into the game, Carlos Santana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Leon Kosmatka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, INTER FC's Kléber do Valle got a free kick in the 47th minute. After 50 minutes INTER FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cafu Ringaa who took care of the corner kick. Galo do Japi's Cafu Ringaa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leon Kosmatka in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.

Rafael Veiga hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Leon Kosmatka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Santana in the 57th minute of play. Ronaldo Giovanelli came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by INTER FC's Marco Seco. But to his dismay, Marco Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Galo do Japi's Ahmet Demir quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fiori de Lara, made in the 62nd minute of the game. Leon Kosmatka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Santana in the 64th minute of the match. Carlos Santana might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leon Kosmatka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Santana ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Santana in the 65th minute of play forced INTER FC's goalkeeper Leon Kosmatka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to INTER FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Kléber do Valle hit a great ball. INTER FC's Mandi Oca was substituted for Emerson Cruz. In the 70th minute, Kléber do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the game, Galo do Japi's Carlos Santana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leon Kosmatka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Carlos Santana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leon Kosmatka having to make a save. Leon Kosmatka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Santana in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, Carlos Santana made a precise shot to the right of Leon Kosmatka. INTER FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Leon Kosmatka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Santana's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Giovanelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mandi Oca in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, INTER FC's goalkeeper Leon Kosmatka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Santana. Ronaldo Giovanelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hortêncio Linhares in the 94th minute of the match. Carlos Santana struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Leon Kosmatka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galo do Japi. After a defensive mix-up in INTER FC's zone, Carlos Santana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Kosmatka came out of the goal and Carlos Santana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
