When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Giovani de Lara made a kick off. OFF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlos Capixaba ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on America Futebol Clube SP's corner Carlos Capixaba fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jano Medeiros quite easily take care of the ball. Luiz Eduardo Paraibano made in the 92nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Arthur Laguna immediately put the ball in play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. America Futebol Clube SP had played much better football throughout.
