Fabiano Lucas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 14th minute, Luís Fábio Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabiano Lucas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramón Wanchope in the 16th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matheus Nascimento in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabiano Lucas saved Rapinantes F.C. from getting behind. In the 21st minute, Ramón Wanchope made a precise shot to the right of Fabiano Lucas. Rapinantes F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 24th match minute, Rapinantes F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Diniz to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Burukster's Luís Fábio Araújo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabiano Lucas. Fabiano Lucas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. 33 minutes into the match, Rapinantes F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ramón Wanchope came free, but Fabiano Lucas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Márcio Valle during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Rapinantes F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márcio Valle to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Ramón Wanchope ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabiano Lucas was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Rapinantes F.C.'s Fabiano Lucas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Rapinantes F.C. from getting a goal against them. Fabiano Lucas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matheus Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Burukster were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Rapinantes F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luís Fábio Araújo took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Rapinantes F.C.'s goalie and right to Jean-Paul Maujean. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Rapinantes F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The Burukster fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. 56 minutes into the match, Luís Fábio Araújo notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Rapinantes F.C.'s Fabiano Lucas. Fabiano Lucas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fabiano Lucas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matheus Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute, Arlindo Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Válbson Soeiro in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabiano Lucas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Rapinantes F.C. defense, Ramón Wanchope kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabiano Lucas. The Rapinantes F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabiano Lucas should have stopped the shot. After 72 played minutes Rapinantes F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Lino Diniz. Burukster's Ramón Wanchope got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Ramón Wanchope put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fabiano Lucas. 79 minutes into the match, Matheus Nascimento notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Rapinantes F.C.'s Fabiano Lucas. Fabiano Lucas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 82 minutes into the match, Matheus Nascimento notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Rapinantes F.C.'s Fabiano Lucas. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Rapinantes F.C. booed when Burukster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremias Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Diniz in the 88th minute of play. After 90 minutes Burukster's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edgar Rosa who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Edgar Rosa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jeremias Ribeiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 92nd minute, Matheus Nascimento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Burukster fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. There was no doubt that Burukster were the better team. Burukster's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
