Vitório Lago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vitório Lago scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Umberto Cunha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vitório Lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Allan Varela managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Pégasus F. C.'s Qiao Ang Le fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pégasus F. C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gilberto Soeiro in the 17th minute. The corner ended in Marian Gondela almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela did a great save. Allan Varela made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Xande Sharkin sent off a good shot on target. Xande Sharkin came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. After having played for 42 minutes, Vitório Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palestra do Interior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitório Lago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Palestra do Interior getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Gary Petrie hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Qiao Ang Le made a kick off. Allan Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Soeiro in the 52nd minute of the match. Vitório Lago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Umberto Cunha made a huge save. Allan Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bebeto Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Umberto Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitório Lago in the 68th minute of the match. Pégasus F. C.'s Jules Gangloff was substituted for Bebeto Medeiros. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. Lapurdi Jaramillo replaced Herbert Pankowski. Pégasus F. C. made a substitution. Adrian Czornomaz replaced Qiao Ang Le. Pégasus F. C.'s Kurt Groll was substituted for Gilberto Soeiro. Rein Rajur made in the 73rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Xande Sharkin however managed to control. Evripidis Picoulas kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Sven Vollander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Umberto Cunha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Palestra do Interior's Sven Vollander slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Umberto Cunha. That made the score 1-3 after 78 minutes of play. Sven Vollander made a great header on Palestra do Interior's corner, it was just that Pégasus F. C.'s Umberto Cunha managed to reach the ball for a save. After 84 minutes Pégasus F. C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Evripidis Picoulas who took care of the corner kick. Sven Vollander received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Umberto Cunha came out and tried to block the shot, but Sven Vollander slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 85th minute. Sven Vollander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umberto Cunha having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Pégasus F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Rein Rajur. After some careless play in the Palestra do Interior defense, Kurt Groll kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Allan Varela. The Palestra do Interior fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Allan Varela should have stopped the shot.
