In the 17th match minute, Pousada 2 Pedros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Răzvan Ghionaru to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute Jan-Ove Påk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jailson Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aristide Ciuvică fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadej Pogačar having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséas Sanches in the 26th minute of play forced México Eterno MZC's goalkeeper Jailson Aparecido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A well-hit corner resulted in Dráusio de Alcântara heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Jailson Aparecido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Ove Påk in the 79th minute of the match. The México Eterno MZC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
