A collision led to Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Téo Toledo hit a great ball. After 4 played minutes Cruzeiro Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Guilherme Cearense. Téo Toledo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Arthur Bufi made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by 余永川 in the 11th minute of play forced Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's goalkeeper Jorge Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 余永川, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arthur Bufi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Sustrai in the 14th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Gwidon Cwojdak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jorge Loyola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 23 minutes, Petter Bivall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petter Bivall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Pedro Paulo Dante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Arthur Bufi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Téo Toledo. In the 27th minute 余永川 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flávio da Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's zone, Téo Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur Bufi came out of the goal and Téo Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arthur Bufi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petter Bivall in the 39th minute of the match. Jorge Loyola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 余永川, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. If Gwidon Cwojdak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Téo Toledo to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Pedro Paulo Dante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Douglas Botelho was substituted for Hélder Lara. Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Hulk Zaracho was substituted for Téo Toledo. In the 56th match minute, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Paulo Dante to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute Hulk Zaracho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Bufi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Sustrai to maneuver through the defense. Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Humberto Perez was substituted for Taavetti Vihervä. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gong Fan got free with Jorge Loyola in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arthur Bufi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hulk Zaracho's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. In the 81st match minute, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 余永川 to maneuver through the defense. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Cristi Saron was substituted for Oswaldo Maranhense. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Isidro Ferman was substituted for Pedro Paulo Dante. In the 83rd minute, Hulk Zaracho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Jorge Loyola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Cruzeiro Esporte Clube booed when Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arthur Bufi came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Hulk Zaracho. But to his dismay, Hulk Zaracho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
