The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, Torreão OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Egídio de Castro came free, but Zézinho Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ezequiel Ortiz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cássio da Silva having to make a save. After 18 minutes of play, Torreão OFF's Ezequiel Ortiz made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cássio da Silva was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ezequiel Ortiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cássio da Silva. Cássio da Silva was a little too slow when Ezequiel Ortiz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 4-0. Cachaça FC's Cássio da Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Ortiz in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute of the match Torreão OFF got a corner. Cachaça FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kaur Laving ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Eliseu Coelho to score against Cássio da Silva in Cachaça FC's goal. 5-0 after 33 minutes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Ortiz in the 38th minute of play forced Cachaça FC's goalkeeper Cássio da Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cássio da Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Torreão OFF's Kaur Laving to fire away a dangerous shot which Cássio da Silva despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
