Nicolae Siclovan scored 1-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manoel Neuer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Xu Li Sang in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cássio da Silva, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nicolae Siclovan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xu Li Sang in the 18th minute of play forced Cachaça FC's goalkeeper Cássio da Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manoel Neuer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolae Siclovan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Jovens Democratas MZC were awarded a corner. Dobromir Zagrodny went to the cornerflag to take it. Xu Li Sang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio da Silva having to interfere. When Jovens Democratas MZC's Xu Li Sang in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jovens Democratas MZC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicolae Siclovan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Cássio da Silva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xu Li Sang's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. The audience was convinced that Xu Li Sang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cássio da Silva was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Cachaça FC's Tico Machado got a free kick in the 46th minute. Jovens Democratas MZC's Dobromir Zagrodny got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xu Li Sang was the one to do the kick off. 50 minutes into the match, Dobromir Zagrodny had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cássio da Silva. Cachaça FC's Nicolae Siclovan got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Xu Li Sang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cássio da Silva was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xu Li Sang in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cássio da Silva saved Cachaça FC from getting behind. Jovens Democratas MZC were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Cachaça FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dobromir Zagrodny took the corner. After taking down the ball on Jovens Democratas MZC's corner Dobromir Zagrodny fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cássio da Silva quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Jovens Democratas MZC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ruy de Brito hit a great ball. Jovens Democratas MZC made a substitution. Giuseppe Negri replaced Durval de Queirós. The supporters of Cachaça FC booed when Jovens Democratas MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruy de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dominik Szoboszlai kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Dobromir Zagrodny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Marco van Basten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cássio da Silva was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Marco van Basten made a great header on Jovens Democratas MZC's corner, it was just that Cachaça FC's Cássio da Silva managed to reach the ball for a save.
