When Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Zico Orange in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Voyager Soccer Team's goalie prevented a goal. After 5 minutes, Zico Orange made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Voyager Soccer Team's Waldemar Quintal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Edinho Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Owsiak in the 16th minute of the match. Tostão Vasconcelos charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tostão Vasconcelos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Tostão Vasconcelos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zico Orange in the 21st minute of play forced Voyager Soccer Team's goalkeeper Waldemar Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dênis Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the game, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Zico Orange nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Waldemar Quintal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 36 minutes into the match, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goalkeeper Edinho Pirani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Piotr Rybak. Gerson da Cunha made in the 37th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Pedrinho Reis. Zico Orange's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waldemar Quintal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Waldemar Quintal came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Zico Orange. But to his dismay, Zico Orange quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 47 minutes into the match, Voyager Soccer Team's goal looked a bit too open when Zico Orange came free, but Waldemar Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Piotr Rybak struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Edinho Pirani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Voyager Soccer Team. A sloppy throw-in by Gerson da Cunha in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Pedrinho Reis. In the last second Waldemar Quintal throw himself and got hold of the ball when Bruno-Henrique Orange in the 55thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Waldemar Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zico Orange in the 55th minute of the match. Voyager Soccer Team made a substitution. Ronaldão Silveira replaced Alun Harmon. In the 65th minute Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Aldair Orange went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's corner Aldair Orange fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Waldemar Quintal quite easily take care of the ball. Edinho Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldão Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno-Henrique Orange got free with Waldemar Quintal in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edinho Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bai Kun Yang in the 72nd minute of play. In the 78th minute, Zico Orange ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waldemar Quintal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Bruno-Henrique Orange who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Waldemar Quintal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The throw-in from Gerson da Cunha in the 87th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Pedrinho Reis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piotr Rybak in the 90th minute of play forced Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goalkeeper Edinho Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zico Orange's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Waldemar Quintal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Pedrinho Reis managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gerson da Cunha in the 94 minute of the game. Edinho Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldão Silveira in the 95th minute of the match.
