An unexpectedly hard shot by Gafur Balkanlıoğlu in the 10th minute of play forced Aster Brasil Futebol Club's goalkeeper Anísio Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, E.C. Água Santa's Anísio Souza threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gafur Balkanlıoğlu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gafur Balkanlıoğlu in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anísio Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gafur Balkanlıoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anísio Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Gafur Balkanlıoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anísio Souza having to make a save. In the 20th minute Wesley Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandez Gøl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Nogueira in the 22nd minute of play forced E.C. Água Santa's goalkeeper Fernandez Gøl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
