Guga de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wesley Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 6th minute of the match Aster Brasil Futebol Club got a corner. Xandeco FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Julio Lopes ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Aster Brasil Futebol Club's corner Julio Lopes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Guga de Azevedo quite easily take care of the ball. If Wesley Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lino Vander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute, Wesley Dante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guga de Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 18thth minute of the game Wesley Dante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xandeco FC's Guga de Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Xandeco FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Lino Vander hit a great ball. Claudinei Camargo kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The supporters of Xandeco FC booed when Aster Brasil Futebol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dito Brasil didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Aster Brasil Futebol Club's Wesley Dante in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Xandeco FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 46th minute, Gilberto Nogueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aster Brasil Futebol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When Gilmar Velloso fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xandeco FC's protests and gave Gilmar Velloso a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes Xandeco FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilmar Velloso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley Dante in the 54th minute of play forced Xandeco FC's goalkeeper Guga de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wesley Dante got free with Guga de Azevedo in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vânderson Palmeira during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Xandeco FC's Vânderson Palmeira got a free kick in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Aster Brasil Futebol Club's Julio Lopes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Aster Brasil Futebol Club's Anísio Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmund Balkiewicz in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Xandeco FC booed when Aster Brasil Futebol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Paulo Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th match minute, Aster Brasil Futebol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Paulo Neto to maneuver through the defense. Wesley Dante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guga de Azevedo having to make a save. Wesley Dante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nafiz Tekke charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nafiz Tekke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Xandeco FC made a substitution. Geraldo Palmeira replaced Antônio Martins. After 86 played minutes Aster Brasil Futebol Club got a freekick which was hit by Nafiz Tekke. Aster Brasil Futebol Club's Anísio Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Luzea in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of Aster Brasil Futebol Club booed when Xandeco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilmar Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 96 minutes, Wesley Dante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aster Brasil Futebol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wesley Dante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Aster Brasil Futebol Club players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
