Água Santa's Fernandez Gøl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneliu Dridu in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, E.C. Água Santa's Carlos Casemiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cosme Pere narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fernandez Gøl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corneliu Dridu, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Gafur Balkanlıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonas Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Dr Lecter SC's Corneliu Dridu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernandez Gøl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 30 minutes, Valdomiro Rosado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the E.C. Água Santa and the Dr Lecter SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Dr Lecter SC booed when E.C. Água Santa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdomiro Rosado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dr Lecter SC's zone, Gafur Balkanlıoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosme Pere came out of the goal and Gafur Balkanlıoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Corneliu Dridu in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernandez Gøl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Dr Lecter SC's Domingos Da Guía got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute Gafur Balkanlıoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Pere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gafur Balkanlıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 50th minute, Corneliu Dridu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute, Gafur Balkanlıoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cosme Pere was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Dr Lecter SC's Laércio Guedes was substituted for Wes Vranx. Carlos Casemiro came free in the 67th minute and tried to tip the ball over Cosme Pere, but to the joy of Dr Lecter SC's supporters the ball went over. The supporters of Dr Lecter SC booed when E.C. Água Santa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrico Santovito didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to E.C. Água Santa getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Enrico Santovito hit a great ball. Fernandez Gøl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernandez Gøl was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Corneliu Dridu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Corneliu Dridu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Omid Kaulbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in E.C. Água Santa's zone, Corneliu Dridu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernandez Gøl came out of the goal and Corneliu Dridu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
