The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the SeleSantos FC defense, Lisandro Piearres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dinei Pinheiro. The SeleSantos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dinei Pinheiro should have stopped the shot. Dinei Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Piearres in the 13th minute of the match. When Ekzema F.V.'s Lisandro Piearres in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dinei Pinheiro had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Ricardo Arruda's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Dinei Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Piearres in the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 minutes SeleSantos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Florin Chiriloaie who took care of the corner kick. Ekzema F.V.'s Florin Chiriloaie was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dinei Pinheiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 35 minutes into the game, Alexandre Carrasqueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ekzema F.V.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SeleSantos FC the free kick. Alexandre Carrasqueira hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Lisandro Piearres notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of SeleSantos FC's Dinei Pinheiro. Dinei Pinheiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Lisandro Piearres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. SeleSantos FC's Dinei Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Piearres in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Lisandro Piearres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dinei Pinheiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Lisandro Piearres put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Dinei Pinheiro. Ekzema F.V.'s Timoteo Estevez was substituted for Lisandro Piearres. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timoteo Estevez to strike the kick off in the second half. Ekzema F.V.'s Arí Cestarolli managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aílton Seco in the 54 minute of the game. In the 55th match minute, Ekzema F.V. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Enaut to maneuver through the defense. Aílton Seco made in the 61st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Daniel Montenegro immediately put the ball in play. SeleSantos FC's Dinei Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Estevez in the 63rd minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Daniel Montenegro threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ekzema F.V.'s Arí Cestarolli quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 70 minutes into the match, Ekzema F.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Leif Törnqvist came free, but Ximenez Cayuso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SeleSantos FC's Dinei Pinheiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save SeleSantos FC from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute Ekzema F.V. were awarded a corner. Florin Chiriloaie went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Florin Chiriloaie got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dinei Pinheiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 78 minutes in the game Daniel Montenegro did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Niilo Mikkola. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Estevez in the 80th minute of play forced SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper Dinei Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 played minutes SeleSantos FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedrão Godoi. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ekzema F.V. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
