Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Fonso Zotillo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ximenez Cayuso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Ekzema F.V.'s Lisandro Piearres slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fonso Zotillo. That made the score 1-0 after 27 minutes of play. XV de Piracicaba's Fonso Zotillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save XV de Piracicaba from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Ekzema F.V.'s Jaime Miranda got a free kick in the 34th minute.
