Marcus Allbäck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, XV de Piracicaba's Fonso Zotillo got control of the ball when Marcus Allbäck tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Joinville City - FSCMZ booed when XV de Piracicaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauro Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geovanildo Luis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Fonso Zotillo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Drew Zaelani hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Bernardino Llorenc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fonso Zotillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Joinville City - FSCMZ's Karsten Ulbak slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fonso Zotillo. That made the score 1-5 after 95 minutes of play. When the final whistle sounded Joinville City - FSCMZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than XV de Piracicaba.
