Leão de Judá's Charlie Hennenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Matxin in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute Jukatriz were awarded a corner. Augusto Alcântara went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Augusto Alcântara got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Charlie Hennenberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 9 minutes into the match, Jukatriz's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardinho de Brito came free, but Oséas Albuquerque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Freddy Rincón fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leão de Judá's protests and gave Freddy Rincón a yellow card for diving instead. Freddy Rincón kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Charlie Hennenberg came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Jukatriz's Arif Ozan Sureha. But to his dismay, Arif Ozan Sureha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 27th minute, Leão de Judá's Bernardinho de Brito ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oséas Albuquerque. Oséas Albuquerque yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Bernardinho de Brito struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Oséas Albuquerque didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leão de Judá. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Ozan Sureha in the 35th minute of play forced Leão de Judá's goalkeeper Charlie Hennenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leão de Judá's Charlie Hennenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio de Alcântara in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Leão de Judá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nildo Leão to maneuver through the defense. Cleto Matxin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Hennenberg having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Oséas Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Jukatriz's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano De Bruyne came free, but Oséas Albuquerque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leão de Judá's Charlie Hennenberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Leão de Judá from getting a goal against them. In the 65th minute Bernardinho de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oséas Albuquerque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jukatriz's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The Jukatriz supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jukatriz would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
