An unexpectedly hard shot by Brayden Duggan in the 7th minute of play forced Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Christian Kerville to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elderslie Magpies's Christian Kerville played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Odon in the 8th minute of play. Christian Kerville took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Odon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 minutes of play, Ayla FC's Ivan Odon made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian Kerville was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 15 minutes, Steven Chaptal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elderslie Magpies and the Ayla FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Elderslie Magpies's Steven Chaptal got a free kick in the 15th minute. Christian Kerville showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvério Pinhal, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Ivan Odon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nilson Fraser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Chaptal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Kerville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvério Pinhal in the 27th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Ayla FC's Rob Porteus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Kerville made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Christian Kerville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rob Porteus in the 33rd minute of the match. The Ayla FC fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Ayla FC's Silvério Pinhal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 40 minutes into the game, Ivan Odon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Christian Kerville was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 45th minute, Ivan Odon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ayla FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Steven Chaptal was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Mccartan in the 51st minute of play forced Ayla FC's goalkeeper Nilson Fraser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Kerville made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Silvério Pinhal sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Christian Kerville managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Ayla FC's Silvério Pinhal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Christian Kerville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Odon in the 70th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Ayla FC's Christian Kerville threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Silvério Pinhal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 77 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Christian Kerville had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rob Porteus. Elderslie Magpies were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Ayla FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rick Souness took the corner. In the 84th minute, Brian Osbiston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the game, Earl Prince was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elderslie Magpies's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ayla FC the free kick. Earl Prince hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pere Villanueva during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Elderslie Magpies getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Pere Villanueva hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Elderslie Magpies defense, Silvério Pinhal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Kerville. The Elderslie Magpies fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Kerville should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Elderslie Magpies's Ralph Gorham got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Elderslie Magpies's zone, Larry Knevett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Kerville came out of the goal and Larry Knevett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ayla FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
