Keylor Navas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Greger Lundkvist in the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Gabriel Martini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dale Gracey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Garth Brough in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dale Gracey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dale Gracey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garth Brough in the 10th minute of the match. Dale Gracey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ellis Hoskin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Ellis Hoskin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dale Gracey. Disco Inferno FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ellis Hoskin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Garth Brough blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dale Gracey having to make a save. Dale Gracey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garth Brough, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Garth Brough left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Australian Youth Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Brown Haslett hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Australian Youth Academy's Keylor Navas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Australian Youth Academy from getting a goal against them. Garth Brough's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dale Gracey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Dale Gracey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Garth Brough went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Disco Inferno FC's Dale Gracey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garth Brough in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Garth Brough to make the kick off. Honorato Regalado got a throw-in 54 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Aaron Mcmurchie. Disco Inferno FC's Dale Gracey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Disco Inferno FC from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute, Garth Brough reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dale Gracey. The goal made the score 0-6. When Garth Brough came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Australian Youth Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garth Brough couldn't finish the play. Garth Brough blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dale Gracey having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Garth Brough got free with Dale Gracey in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dale Gracey had in the 87thth minute some difficulties stopping Garth Brough's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 90 minutes of play, Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dale Gracey was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disco Inferno FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Garth Brough scored to the left of an out of position Dale Gracey, making the score, 0-8. After 96 played minutes Australian Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Brown Haslett.
