Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Elderslie Magpies's Steven Chaptal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Steven Chaptal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christian Kerville showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ike Pears, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Christian Kerville took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ike Pears, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Kerville made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rick Quinane in the 8th minute of play. Stan Mackney kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Elderslie Magpies's Rick Souness couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Disco Inferno FC. Ike Pears could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Christian Kerville made a huge save. In the 19th match minute, Disco Inferno FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remy Neich to maneuver through the defense. When Ovidio Etxekopar came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Elderslie Magpies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidio Etxekopar couldn't finish the play. Disco Inferno FC's Dale Gracey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Chaptal in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Disco Inferno FC's goal looked a bit too open when Steven Chaptal came free, but Dale Gracey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dale Gracey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neal Weatherby, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. With an all-out effort, Disco Inferno FC's Christian Kerville threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Daley Virgin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Steven Chaptal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dale Gracey having to make a save. Elderslie Magpies's Christian Kerville proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Elderslie Magpies from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute Disco Inferno FC were awarded a corner. Stan Mackney went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Stan Mackney almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Elderslie Magpies's Christian Kerville did a great save. Rick Quinane hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After having played for 50 minutes, Aaron Mcmurchie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Disco Inferno FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Mcmurchie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 52nd minute Ike Pears shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Kerville saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neal Weatherby received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dale Gracey came out and tried to block the shot, but Neal Weatherby slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 54th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Disco Inferno FC's goalkeeper Dale Gracey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Neal Weatherby. Elderslie Magpies's Steven Chaptal got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, Neal Weatherby recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dale Gracey. Neal Weatherby showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 66thth minute of the game Greger Lundkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elderslie Magpies's Christian Kerville was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th minute Ike Pears shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Kerville saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elderslie Magpies's Christian Kerville played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remy Neich in the 69th minute of play. Disco Inferno FC's Abelardo Hustaz was substituted for Greger Lundkvist. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Elderslie Magpies:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Disco Inferno FC:s goal. In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Disco Inferno FC. Stan Mackney stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Christian Kerville. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Mcmurchie in the 81st minute of play forced Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Christian Kerville to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Kerville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ike Pears in the 83rd minute of the match. Dale Gracey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steven Chaptal, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Elderslie Magpies were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Disco Inferno FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rick Souness took the corner. Aaron Mcmurchie took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Kerville. Christian Kerville dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Disco Inferno FC's Peter Rosenboom was substituted for Aaron Mcmurchie. Ike Pears's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Kerville read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Steven Chaptal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Dale Gracey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
