The referee ignored Glasston's protests and gave Jagger Trevena a yellow card for diving instead. 3 minutes into the game, one of Glasston:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by György Németh in the 10th minute of play forced Stratton FC's goalkeeper Lawrance See to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael van der Vaarts short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Lawrance See to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Martyon Gronow hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stratton FC's goalkeeper Lawrance See, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 16th minute Jakub Zoufalý shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlton Convine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lawrance See made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Rafael van der Vaart sent off a good shot on target. Lawrance See showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael van der Vaart in the 19th minute of the match. Rafael van der Vaart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Lawrance See made a huge save. In the 22nd minute György Németh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lawrance See saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael van der Vaart in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lawrance See, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lawrance See took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from György Németh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Glasston's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Sacchi came free, but Carlton Convine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Alessandro Sacchi made a precise shot to the right of Carlton Convine. Glasston's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Mete Golob came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Glasston fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mete Golob couldn't finish the play. Glasston's Carlton Convine proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Glasston from getting a goal against them. Lawrance See made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael van der Vaart in the 77th minute of play. In the 84thth minute of the game Rafael van der Vaart who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stratton FC's Lawrance See was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Glasston fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Glasston's Rafael van der Vaart looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lawrance See showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael van der Vaart, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael van der Vaart in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lawrance See prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lawrance See made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mete Golob in the 96th minute of play.
