Jan Koller might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haitz Langarica. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan Koller ran back to his position shaking his head. 31 minutes into the match, Atletico Aragua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Koller came free, but Haitz Langarica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Pedro Maldonado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Aragua FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Maldonado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Korneliusz Rasimowicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Deportivo Ortegano's Korneliusz Rasimowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspard Izquierdo in the 35th minute of play. After 36 played minutes Atletico Aragua FC got a freekick which was hit by Lauro Acebal. After a rather tough play, Atletico Aragua FC's Rafe Vallina got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan Koller was the one to do the kick off. Haitz Langarica was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jan Koller showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 53 minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Gaspard Izquierdo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Deportivo Ortegano's Korneliusz Rasimowicz.
