The Rayland FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Bertol should have stopped the shot. If Karim Morientes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. Joel Bertol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karim Morientes's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Valhalla F.C.'s goalkeeper Benicio Larez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Endrick de Souza. In the 28thth minute of the game Karim Morientes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rayland FC's Joel Bertol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Benicio Larez managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Rayland FC's Endrick de Souza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Endrick de Souza had several of the Valhalla F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 30 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Benicio Larez as he didn't even see the shot coming. Benicio Larez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Bannister in the 36th minute of the match. Rayland FC's Joel Bertol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Morientes in the 41st minute of play. Karim Morientes might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Bertol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karim Morientes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 44th minute Karim Morientes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Bertol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
