After the first half Obrero Barquisimeto were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amilcar Gomez to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Richie Vasaburu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arne Teuben made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Sterling in the 56th minute of play. Obrero Barquisimeto's Odilon Marcha quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luis-Carlos Gay, made in the 57th minute of the game. In the 60th match minute, Obrero Barquisimeto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richie Vasaburu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by 魏竞博 in the 62nd minute of play forced Obrero Barquisimeto's goalkeeper Arne Teuben to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Akerman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Dime La Rocca when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Obrero Barquisimeto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Shen Feng lost his temper 96 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The Real Marabino supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Obrero Barquisimeto's performance. The match ended with a win for Obrero Barquisimeto.
