In the 4th minute Alvaro Ramiréz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beat Vid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Ramiréz in the 6th minute of play forced Aioros FC's goalkeeper Beat Vid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beat Vid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Ramiréz in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Aioros FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Anton Axelsson hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Aioros FC's goal looked a bit too open when James Bom came free, but Beat Vid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dieter Denys in the 14th minute. The corner led Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Aybars Öveç to fire away a dangerous shot which Beat Vid despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 17th minute Alvaro Ramiréz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beat Vid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Aioros FC defense, James Bom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beat Vid. The Aioros FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beat Vid should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute, Gilbert Alströmmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dieter Denys, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Zhuang Guang Bang made in the 28th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Bento Chandeiro however managed to control. When Alvaro Ramiréz came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Berenjenas de Punto Fijo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Ramiréz couldn't finish the play. Aioros FC's Beat Vid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Ramiréz in the 45th minute of play. The Aioros FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo were winning 0-1.

Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Juli Alvarez was substituted for Alvaro Ramiréz. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bento Chandeiro was the one to do the kick off. Juli Alvarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bento Chandeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thibaut Vandamme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bento Chandeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Thibaut Vandamme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bento Chandeiro in the 61st minute of play. Thibaut Vandamme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bento Chandeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Thibaut Vandamme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bento Chandeiro in the 64th minute of play. Aioros FC's Wang Qi Chang was substituted for Gilbert Alströmmer. After 67 played minutes Berenjenas de Punto Fijo got a freekick which was hit by Francis Van Geel. Zdzislaw Rakowski hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Anton Axelsson struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Thibaut Vandamme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aioros FC. Thibaut Vandamme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bento Chandeiro in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute of the match Aioros FC got a corner. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anton Axelsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a defensive mix-up in Aioros FC's zone, Behram Vacit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beat Vid came out of the goal and Behram Vacit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zhuang Guang Bang made in the 92nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jose Miguel Núñez. Zhuang Guang Bang kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Juli Alvarez got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thibaut Vandamme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Axelsson in the 96th minute of play. The Berenjenas de Punto Fijo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
