An unexpectedly hard shot by Marquez Dolarea in the 7th minute of play forced Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's goalkeeper Thibaut Vandamme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Peña in the 19th minute of play forced Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's goalkeeper Thibaut Vandamme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Dieter Denys got a free kick in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Alvaro Ramiréz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sindo Porregimon. Alvaro Ramiréz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Thibaut Vandamme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artal Baltanas in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Socavon FC's Thomás Pollack got a free kick in the 25th minute. The goalkeeper, Sindo Porregimon, was totally fooled by Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Dieter Denys, who 30 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Alvaro Ramiréz in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sindo Porregimon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 40 minutes into the match, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's goal looked a bit too open when Marquez Dolarea came free, but Thibaut Vandamme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ksawery Furgal in the 41st minute of play forced Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's goalkeeper Thibaut Vandamme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomás Pollack kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Alvaro Ramiréz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Ramiréz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sindo Porregimon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Socavon FC's Sindo Porregimon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Socavon FC from getting a goal against them. Thibaut Vandamme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ksawery Furgal in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Berenjenas de Punto Fijo made a substitution. Juli Alvarez replaced Alvaro Ramiréz. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juli Alvarez made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Socavon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juli Alvarez came free, but Sindo Porregimon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Socavon FC's goalie and right to Aybars Öveç. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Socavon FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 58th minute Juli Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sindo Porregimon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juli Alvarez in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sindo Porregimon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61st minute Ksawery Furgal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thibaut Vandamme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thibaut Vandamme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Peña in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute of the match, Enrique Peña tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thibaut Vandamme saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 72ndth minute of the game Juli Alvarez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Socavon FC's Sindo Porregimon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juli Alvarez in the 75th minute of play forced Socavon FC's goalkeeper Sindo Porregimon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Socavon FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dieter Denys took the corner. If Juli Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juli Alvarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ksawery Furgal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Thibaut Vandamme made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Socavon FC's Thibaut Vandamme threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ksawery Furgal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Juli Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juli Alvarez hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Enrique Peña took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Thibaut Vandamme to make any attempt to save it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Berenjenas de Punto Fijo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Socavon FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
