Craig Argoud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segio Galantia in the 12th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Thiago Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cai Fei Cheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Hermon in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Nascimento in the 22nd minute of play forced Mesere's goalkeeper Cai Fei Cheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mesere's Cai Fei Cheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovânio Amaral in the 26th minute of play. Segio Galantia took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Craig Argoud. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thiago Nascimento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
