The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 13th minute, one of WWW LENINGRAD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for WWW LENINGRAD. The referee gave Unica FC a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aybar Bayezit, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of WWW LENINGRAD's Göksel Koral. 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, WWW LENINGRAD's goal looked a bit too open when Sevastyan Lemeshevskiy came free, but Göksel Koral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sevastyan Lemeshevskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Göksel Koral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Veniamin Markov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Aybar Bayezit managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unica FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aybar Bayezit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Göksel Koral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Unica FC's Nikita Gudkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislav Karpov in the 28th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Stanislav Karpov made a precise shot to the right of Nikita Gudkov. Unica FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Göksel Koral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Veniamin Markov, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Nikita Gudkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislav Karpov in the 32nd minute of play. If Veniamin Markov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The WWW LENINGRAD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Unica FC were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Veniamin Markov made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Aybar Bayezit cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Göksel Koral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. WWW LENINGRAD's Rudolf Budraitis was substituted for Vadim Brondukov. Unica FC were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after WWW LENINGRAD's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pavel Ivanteev took the corner. In the 62nd match minute, WWW LENINGRAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruslan Nekrasov to maneuver through the defense. Göksel Koral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Veniamin Markov in the 63rd minute. If Veniamin Markov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Veniamin Markov got free with Göksel Koral in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd minute Filipp Abdullin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikita Gudkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in WWW LENINGRAD's zone, Konstantin Bondarev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göksel Koral came out of the goal and Konstantin Bondarev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Göksel Koral made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Aybar Bayezit sent off a good shot on target. Veniamin Markov struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Göksel Koral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unica FC. In the 87th minute, Aybar Bayezit got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Aybar Bayezit managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unica FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aybar Bayezit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Göksel Koral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute, Yaromir Sharapov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute Yaromir Sharapov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göksel Koral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Unica FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
