After 6th play minutes Denis Lavrentev shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Ali Kaan Acartürk and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 8th minute, Sergey Blynskih hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valer Boteanu got free with Antonio Sengrat in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christian Målare recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valer Boteanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Antonio Sengrat made a huge save. STORM's Antonio Sengrat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save STORM from getting a goal against them. GONDWONALAND were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after STORM's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valer Boteanu took the corner. Léo Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Sengrat having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Lavrentev in the 33rd minute of play forced GONDWONALAND's goalkeeper Ali Kaan Acartürk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Kaan Acartürk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Lavrentev in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute Léo Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Sengrat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, STORM's goalkeeper Antonio Sengrat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valer Boteanu. In the 38th minute of the match GONDWONALAND got a corner. STORM's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valer Boteanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Danila Pestov heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 40th of the match, Léo Pereira tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Antonio Sengrat got in the way and made a wonderful save. When Valer Boteanu came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the GONDWONALAND fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valer Boteanu couldn't finish the play. STORM made a substitution. Andrey Buznikin replaced Anton Varlamov. Ali Kaan Acartürk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Lavrentev in the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, GONDWONALAND's Léo Pereira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antonio Sengrat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. STORM made a substitution. Mathis Plum replaced Raimundo Librado. GONDWONALAND's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valer Boteanu in the 49th minute. GONDWONALAND's Danila Pestov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Antonio Sengrat in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valer Boteanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Valer Boteanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Sengrat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Valer Boteanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute Carlos Sosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Sengrat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 minutes, Denis Lavrentev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the STORM and the GONDWONALAND players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of GONDWONALAND booed when STORM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Lavrentev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denis Lavrentev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Ali Kaan Acartürk made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Bruno Chayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Sengrat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léo Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 93rd minute Grigoriy Agapov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Kaan Acartürk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valer Boteanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Antonio Sengrat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Lavrentev kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in STORM's zone, Rubim Jordão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Sengrat came out of the goal and Rubim Jordão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched STORM eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
