The corner went over the outstretched arms of ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's goalie and right to Yaniusky Pardo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 22nd minute, Arturo Di Matteo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Di Matteo in the 29th minute of play forced ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's goalkeeper Luke Skywalker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Balestra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Jerano in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Yaniusky Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calenzano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yaniusky Pardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donato Balestra made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Leonardo Penha sent off a good shot on target. After 38 minutes Calenzano's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Federico Vani who took care of the corner kick. Luke Skywalker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Di Matteo, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute Calenzano were awarded a corner. Fedele Alessandrini went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Arturo Di Matteo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 48th match minute, ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Gergori to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonardo Penha was the one to do the kick off. Donato Balestra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Penha in the 58th minute of play. Arturo Di Matteo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luke Skywalker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Di Matteo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Penha in the 61st minute of play forced Calenzano's goalkeeper Donato Balestra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calenzano's Pierrot Leenpoels was substituted for Arturo Di Matteo. In the 64th minute of the match ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ got a corner. Calenzano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Federico Vani ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luke Skywalker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pierrot Leenpoels's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Luke Skywalker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierrot Leenpoels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luke Skywalker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierrot Leenpoels in the 71st minute of the match. Calenzano's Donato Balestra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Jerano in the 73rd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Calenzano's Pierrot Leenpoels sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luke Skywalker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Donato Balestra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Penha in the 87th minute of the match. After 91 minutes of play ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's Denis Gergori was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Denis Gergori hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
