In the 2nd minute, one of XMAS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for XMAS. XMAS:s Armando Polidori showed great skill when he stopped Mattia Hummels:s penalty. Armando Polidori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrea Tofani in the 6th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alessandro Vettori during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th minute, Alessandro Vettori hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrea Tofani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Polidori read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, XMAS's goal looked a bit too open when Andrea Tofani came free, but Armando Polidori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrea Tofani in the 15th minute of play forced XMAS's goalkeeper Armando Polidori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th play minute Andrea Tofani came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Armando Polidori. 1-0. I ritirandi di Canaus's Mattia Hummels managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eugenio Casiraghi in the 21 minute of the game. In the 24th minute, Andrea Tofani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Polidori was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 27th minute of the match, Mihail Brânza got a very nice opportunity to score, but Armando Polidori was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The corner ended in Marcin Kaczmarek almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but XMAS's Armando Polidori did a great save. In the 30th minute Ernesto Minichiello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexsandro Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Andrea Tofani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Andrea Tofani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Armando Polidori made a huge save. Andrea Tofani might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Polidori. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrea Tofani ran back to his position shaking his head. After 34 minutes, Eugenio Casiraghi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the XMAS and the I ritirandi di Canaus players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of I ritirandi di Canaus booed when XMAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Casiraghi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Mihail Brânza could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Armando Polidori however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrea Tofani got free with Armando Polidori in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Andrea Tofani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The I ritirandi di Canaus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Andrea Tofani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernesto Minichiello to make the kick off. Armando Polidori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Leizarraga in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by XMAS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ezequiel Leizarraga was slow to take the kick. During this time I ritirandi di Canaus's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Ezequiel Leizarraga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Armando Polidori quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 53rdth minute of the game Mihail Brânza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but XMAS's Armando Polidori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andrea Tofani succeeded in the game's 54th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. After 59 minutes XMAS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ezequiel Leizarraga who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Marcin Kaczmarek almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but XMAS's Armando Polidori did a great save. After 59 minutes, Andrea Tofani made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. XMAS's Armando Polidori tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 62 minutes into the game, I ritirandi di Canaus's Andrea Tofani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Polidori made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. I ritirandi di Canaus's Comunardo Cerri was substituted for Mihail Brânza. I ritirandi di Canaus made a substitution. Lu Chao Cheng replaced Ezequiel Leizarraga. Armando Polidori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Polidori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo in the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo in the 71st minute of play forced XMAS's goalkeeper Armando Polidori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 minutes of play, I ritirandi di Canaus's Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Polidori was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the XMAS defense, Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Polidori. The XMAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Polidori should have stopped the shot. Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Polidori. Armando Polidori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. A collision led to XMAS getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Alberigo Gianfrancesco hit a great ball. In the 84th minute Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Polidori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Polidori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Polidori. Armando Polidori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. Armando Polidori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Comunardo Cerri in the 90th minute of play. When Lu Chao Cheng came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the I ritirandi di Canaus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lu Chao Cheng couldn't finish the play. Lu Chao Cheng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Armando Polidori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in XMAS's zone, Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Polidori came out of the goal and Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that I ritirandi di Canaus were the better team. I ritirandi di Canaus's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
