The Urbs LC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Cezary Tusk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eugenio Colecchia. Seggiano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cezary Tusk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Eugenio Santoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniele Massaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Seggiano's Daniele Massaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eugenio Santoro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniele Massaro in the 24th minute of play forced Urbs LC's goalkeeper Eugenio Santoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Ennio Di Marzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Colecchia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugenio Colecchia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ennio Di Marzio in the 32nd minute of play. Seggiano's Eugenio Colecchia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ennio Di Marzio in the 34th minute of play. Eugenio Colecchia was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bruno Di Iulio. Seggiano's Eugenio Colecchia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Seggiano from getting a goal against them. Bernardo Testa hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The supporters of Urbs LC booed when Seggiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniele Massaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniele Massaro to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Pastor Ihazintu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eugenio Colecchia. If Guntis Pakuls had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Seggiano's Carmine Righi was substituted for Daniele Massaro. Carmine Righi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Eugenio Santoro made a huge save. Urbs LC's Eugenio Santoro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Urbs LC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Seggiano's zone, Cezary Tusk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Colecchia came out of the goal and Cezary Tusk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alf Runeberg hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Eugenio Colecchia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Ihazintu, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Eugenio Colecchia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boško Balaban went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Seggiano's Eugenio Colecchia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Ihazintu in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Ihazintu in the 78th minute of play forced Seggiano's goalkeeper Eugenio Colecchia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 minutes of play, Seggiano's Giovanni Falcone made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugenio Santoro was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Urbs LC's Eugenio Santoro got control of the ball when Carmine Righi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Urbs LC's Eugenio Santoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovanni Falcone in the 87th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Urbs LC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Seggiano had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
