Giovanni Falcone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Alvaro Pardini made a huge save. Eugenio Colecchia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Nazzaro in the 10th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Bruno Nazzaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Foot Ball Club di Roma's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Nazzaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugenio Colecchia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute Armando Ceresoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Colecchia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 17 in the game by Daniele Massaro from a close distance when the talented Alvaro Pardini managed to make a qualified save. Foot Ball Club di Roma's players were relieved. In the 18th match minute, Seggiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessio Nola to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute Bruno Nazzaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Colecchia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Foot Ball Club di Roma:s Alvaro Pardini showed great skill when he stopped Daniele Massaro:s penalty. Seggiano's Guntis Pakuls suffered a sore knee after 42 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Bruno Nazzaro hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Daniele Massaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Pardini having to interfere.

Foot Ball Club di Roma made a substitution. Alessandro Anastasi replaced Aldo Pesce. Bedri Baykutay struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Alvaro Pardini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Seggiano. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Seggiano's goalkeeper Eugenio Colecchia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Seggiano's Damiano Benvenuto was substituted for Cesare Del Duca. Alvaro Pardini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Seggiano were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
