The crowd rose to their feet as Urbs LC's Ennio Di Marzio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eraldo Cannone. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. Urbs LC's Eugenio Santoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignaz Ecke in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Urbs LC's goal looked a bit too open when Achille Molinaro came free, but Eugenio Santoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urbs LC's Eugenio Santoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignaz Ecke in the 14th minute of play. Luponero FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Melvin Eschendaal in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute Pastor Ihazintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Cannone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 minutes, Achille Molinaro made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Urbs LC's Eugenio Santoro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luponero FC's Eraldo Cannone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Luponero FC from getting a goal against them. Pastor Ihazintu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Eraldo Cannone when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignaz Ecke in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugenio Santoro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Urbs LC's Pastor Ihazintu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 42nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 46th minute, Ignaz Ecke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pastor Ihazintu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eraldo Cannone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pastor Ihazintu to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pastor Ihazintu in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eraldo Cannone saved Luponero FC from getting behind. In the 53rd minute Ennio Di Marzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Cannone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugenio Santoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignaz Ecke in the 54th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Luponero FC's corner Melvin Eschendaal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eugenio Santoro quite easily take care of the ball. After 57 minutes Urbs LC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Melvin Eschendaal who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Melvin Eschendaal got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eugenio Santoro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Urbs LC's Eugenio Santoro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Urbs LC from getting a goal against them. Ignaz Ecke struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Eugenio Santoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luponero FC. Urbs LC's Edoardo Zuccarini was substituted for Jimmy Wiklund. If Pastor Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Luponero FC's Ignaz Ecke got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 71stth minute of the game Boško Balaban who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Luponero FC's Eraldo Cannone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Urbs LC's Boško Balaban suffered a concussion after 72 minutes and had to leave the field. When Melvin Eschendaal fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Luponero FC's protests and gave Melvin Eschendaal a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Urbs LC booed when Luponero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melvin Eschendaal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urbs LC made a substitution. Anselmo Papetti replaced Diego Lusi. 75 minutes into the match, Luponero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Boško Balaban came free, but Eraldo Cannone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugenio Santoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignaz Ecke, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pastor Ihazintu in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eraldo Cannone saved Luponero FC from getting behind. Eraldo Cannone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezary Tusk in the 88th minute of play. After 89 minutes of play, Urbs LC's Boško Balaban made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eraldo Cannone was left in no man's land by his defense there! Urbs LC were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Luponero FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cezary Tusk took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Luponero FC's goalie and right to Bruno Di Iulio. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Luponero FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Eraldo Cannone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boško Balaban, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. In the 97th minute of the match Urbs LC got a corner. Luponero FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cezary Tusk ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Urbs LC's Claudio Lombardi to fire away a dangerous shot which Eraldo Cannone despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match clock showed 99 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Boško Balaban sped through Luponero FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eraldo Cannone. When the referee blew the final whistle, Urbs LC could leave the field as winners, despite Luponero FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
