The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Angelo Vettori notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Acilia Town's Ciro Moscatelli. Ciro Moscatelli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Allar Luite made in the 7th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Acilia Town's Robert Wojno. 8 minutes into the game, Liang Cai recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Radowit Ptaszek. Liang Cai showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 11th minute, Angelo Vettori got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciro Moscatelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Carlini in the 16th minute of play. He Le Ke kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Ciro Moscatelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Vettori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciro Moscatelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cesate. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Acilia Town's Alvaro Recoba was substituted for Jorge Ramos. In the 53rdth minute of the game Angelo Vettori who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Acilia Town's Ciro Moscatelli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 57th minute Gustaw Nienajadlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Moscatelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Vettori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liang Cai in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radowit Ptaszek saved Cesate from getting behind. After 62 played minutes Acilia Town got a freekick which was hit by Ovidiu Ciulei. Liang Cai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radowit Ptaszek having to make a save. In the 65th minute Liang Cai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radowit Ptaszek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Comunardo Puja fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cesate's protests and gave Comunardo Puja a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cesate's Comunardo Puja got a free kick in the 69th minute. Acilia Town made a substitution. Diego Garofalo replaced Franco Ucci. Cesate made a substitution. Kay Stormlund replaced Enzo Giannantonio. After 70 played minutes Cesate got a freekick which was hit by Comunardo Puja. The supporters of Acilia Town booed when Cesate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Comunardo Puja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Radowit Ptaszek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liang Cai in the 74th minute of the match. After 76 minutes Acilia Town's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Angelo Vettori who took care of the corner kick. Angelo Vettori made a great header on Cesate's corner, it was just that Acilia Town's Ciro Moscatelli managed to reach the ball for a save. Kay Stormlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Ciro Moscatelli made a huge save. 84 minutes into the match, Liang Cai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Radowit Ptaszek. Cesate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Liang Cai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Acilia Town's Dieguinho Tande was substituted for Liang Cai. Angelo Vettori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Moscatelli having to interfere. The supporters of Cesate booed when Acilia Town was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dieguinho Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Acilia Town's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
