The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ciro Grieco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Alessio Martini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ettore Mazzocchetti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Camillo Ruggieri when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 11th match minute, LA Lord Perez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armin Bondi to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the game, Arrigo Cino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monkey D.Luffy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LA Lord Perez the free kick. Arrigo Cino kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, LA Lord Perez's goal looked a bit too open when Filippo Campoli came free, but Alessio Martini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to LA Lord Perez getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Cristoforo Di Lorenzo hit a great ball. Aurelio De Marchi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camillo Ruggieri having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arrigo Cino in the 28th minute of play forced LA Lord Perez's goalkeeper Alessio Martini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alessio Martini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arrigo Cino went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 44th minute Arrigo Cino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessio Martini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Corrado Di Blasio took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Camillo Ruggieri to make any attempt to save it. After the first half Monkey D.Luffy were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Corrado Di Blasio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The corner led Monkey D.Luffy's Fortunato Ali to fire away a dangerous shot which Alessio Martini despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Arrigo Cino sped through LA Lord Perez's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alessio Martini. Alessio Martini was a little too slow when Arrigo Cino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-4. In the 63rd minute, Filippo Campoli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monkey D.Luffy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Monkey D.Luffy's Camillo Ruggieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corrado Di Blasio in the 72nd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Monkey D.Luffy's Alessio Martini threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arrigo Cino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armin Bondi during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th match minute, LA Lord Perez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armin Bondi to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, LA Lord Perez's goal looked a bit too open when Arrigo Cino came free, but Alessio Martini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Arrigo Cino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monkey D.Luffy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arrigo Cino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute Arrigo Cino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessio Martini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alessio Martini was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arrigo Cino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 91 minute of play. Filippo Campoli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessio Martini having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Monkey D.Luffy's Ciro Grieco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alessio Martini. Alessio Martini yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-8.
