In the 13th minute, Arthur Damm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Urbano Saturnin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Fonseca in the 14th minute of play. Aquiles Gana received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Urbano Saturnin came out and tried to block the shot, but Aquiles Gana slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. The supporters of Sao Brasola booed when AC Morena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Antognoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arthur Damm made in the 25th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Elia Di Vincenzo immediately put the ball in play. Sao Brasola's Caetano Velasques was substituted for Joseph Asklöv. Aquiles Gana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
