Montesacro Utd's Beppe Lucente quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Liu Ying Qing, made in the 19th minute of the game. 21 minutes into the match, Herta Budino's goal looked a bit too open when Maurito Boselli came free, but Fortunato Sangermano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Biagio Cera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Davide Rinaldi's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Fortunato Sangermano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurito Boselli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Maurito Boselli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Sangermano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Biagio Cera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davide Rinaldi in the 35th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Davide Rinaldi notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Montesacro Utd's Biagio Cera. Biagio Cera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fortunato Sangermano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurito Boselli in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Davide Rinaldi made a precise shot to the right of Biagio Cera. Montesacro Utd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maurito Boselli to strike the kick off in the second half. When Pedro Velasco fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Herta Budino's protests and gave Pedro Velasco a yellow card for diving instead. Pedro Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute of the match Alex Moschetta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fortunato Sangermano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Biagio Cera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Davide Rinaldi in the 58th minute. Alex Moschetta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Sangermano having to interfere. Herta Budino's Johannes Fransson was substituted for Adam Baldy. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Davide Rinaldi in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Biagio Cera saved Montesacro Utd from getting behind. In the 65th minute Davide Rinaldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Cera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Biagio Cera made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Davide Rinaldi sent off a good shot on target. In the 69thth minute of the game Davide Rinaldi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montesacro Utd's Biagio Cera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fortunato Sangermano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 苏雄辰 in the 87th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, 苏雄辰 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fortunato Sangermano. Herta Budino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 苏雄辰 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. After 94 played minutes Montesacro Utd got a freekick which was hit by Damiano Zangari. The crowd rose to their feet as Fábio Grosso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Biagio Cera. That made the score 2-5 in the 95 minute of play. The Herta Budino supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Herta Budino would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
