If Wit Lampa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabiano Mattei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Sanna having to interfere. Edoardo Mauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adalberto Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 played minutes Sporting Club Sicilia got a freekick which was hit by Abay Zor. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto Figueiredo in the 47th minute of play forced Villa di Molvena FC's goalkeeper Edoardo Mauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adalberto Figueiredo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edoardo Mauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wit Lampa in the 52nd minute of play. Kusti Rääk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Sanna having to interfere. Alvaro Sanna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexis Sánchez in the 55th minute of play. Villa di Molvena FC were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Sporting Club Sicilia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ferdinando Pacella took the corner. The corner ended in Kusti Rääk almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sporting Club Sicilia's Alvaro Sanna did a great save. Alvaro Sanna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexis Sánchez in the 63rd minute of the match. Guaberto Cristos kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of Sporting Club Sicilia booed when Villa di Molvena FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Vulcano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Villa di Molvena FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Figueiredo came free, but Edoardo Mauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute of the match, Alexis Sánchez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alvaro Sanna was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 75 played minutes, Sporting Club Sicilia's Alberto Nazzaro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edoardo Mauro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sporting Club Sicilia reached it. Edoardo Mauro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Concetto Rucci went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Alexis Sánchez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Alvaro Sanna made a huge save. Villa di Molvena FC's Edoardo Mauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Cristos in the 88th minute of play. Alvaro Sanna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Türkeş Özboga's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Edoardo Mauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Figueiredo in the 94th minute of the match. Edoardo Mauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Concetto Rucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Villa di Molvena FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sporting Club Sicilia.
