An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Sforza in the 3rd minute of play forced Sporting Club Sicilia's goalkeeper Alvaro Sanna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enzo De Nicola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adalberto Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 minutes AC Roma's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alberto Nazzaro who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Sporting Club Sicilia's Baddhanuraga Grybauskas to fire away a dangerous shot which Enzo De Nicola despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. AC Roma's Enzo De Nicola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalberto Figueiredo in the 19th minute of play. Alvaro Sforza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sporting Club Sicilia's Alvaro Sanna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Sforza in the 20th minute of play. Armin Ascenzi hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvaro Sforza got free with Alvaro Sanna in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. AC Roma's Enzo De Nicola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto De Nardis in the 28th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Javier Della Francesca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alvaro Sanna. Javier Della Francesca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Sporting Club Sicilia's Alvaro Sanna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Club Sicilia from getting a goal against them.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adalberto Figueiredo made a kick off. When Alvaro Sforza came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the AC Roma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Sforza couldn't finish the play. Alvaro Sanna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Sforza, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 56 minutes into the game, Alvaro Sforza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Alvaro Sanna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Herbert Veisson kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. With a little luck, AC Roma's Enzo De Nicola got control of the ball when Wit Lampa tried to sneak it across the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Armin Ascenzi in the 65th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sporting Club Sicilia's Alberto Nazzaro. In the 68th match minute, AC Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Sforza to maneuver through the defense. Alvaro Sforza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AC Roma's Enzo De Nicola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save AC Roma from getting a goal against them. Alvaro Sanna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Sforza in the 81st minute of play. Concetto Rucci who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Enzo De Nicola when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alvaro Sanna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Della Francesca in the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, AC Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Concetto De Nardis came free, but Enzo De Nicola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If 徐帆海 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sporting Club Sicilia made a substitution. Damiano Cino replaced Alberto Nazzaro. In the 93rd minute, Adalberto Figueiredo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enzo De Nicola was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The AC Roma players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
