Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alvaro Sforza took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, AC Roma's Ernesto Errolan got a free kick in the 5th minute. Cristoforo Brillante was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alberto Nazzaro. Alvaro Sanna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Sforza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9 minutes Sporting Club Sicilia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Armin Ascenzi who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Horia Nasta managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 13th minute, Horia Nasta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto Figueiredo in the 14th minute of play forced AC Roma's goalkeeper Cristoforo Brillante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Javier Della Francesca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Alvaro Sanna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Alvaro Sforza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvaro Sanna was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Cristoforo Brillante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Concetto De Nardis in the 34th minute. Alvaro Sforza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvaro Sanna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sporting Club Sicilia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Armin Ascenzi was slow to take the kick. During this time AC Roma's players had a chance to rest. Alvaro Sanna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Sforza, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Alvaro Sanna came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by AC Roma's Javier Della Francesca. But to his dismay, Javier Della Francesca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 45 minutes into the match, Javier Della Francesca notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Sporting Club Sicilia's Alvaro Sanna. Alvaro Sanna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adalberto Figueiredo was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvaro Sforza got free with Alvaro Sanna in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 55 minutes into the match, Adalberto Figueiredo notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of AC Roma's Cristoforo Brillante. Cristoforo Brillante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alvaro Sanna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Sforza, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The audience was convinced that Concetto De Nardis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristoforo Brillante was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Concetto De Nardis in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristoforo Brillante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristoforo Brillante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Cristos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Alvaro Sforza sped through Sporting Club Sicilia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alvaro Sanna. Alvaro Sanna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horia Nasta in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Sforza in the 85th minute of play forced Sporting Club Sicilia's goalkeeper Alvaro Sanna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, AC Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Concetto De Nardis came free, but Cristoforo Brillante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Javier Della Francesca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Sanna having to interfere. Sporting Club Sicilia's Damiano Cino was substituted for Alberto Nazzaro. In the 95th minute, Concetto Rucci ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristoforo Brillante was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Although Sporting Club Sicilia had been in control for most of the match, AC Roma still came away with the win.
