Michal Beninda kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Corrado Spitaleri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dariusz Wos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dariusz Wos in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Corrado Spitaleri saved Borgo Doria F.C. from getting behind. After 10 minutes of play, A.C. Patagonia's Dariusz Wos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Corrado Spitaleri was left in no man's land by his defense there! Corrado Spitaleri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dariusz Wos went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 22 minutes into the match, Borgo Doria F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Wos came free, but Corrado Spitaleri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corrado Spitaleri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Wos in the 22nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ludwig Wassenius in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Corrado Spitaleri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alberto Scutti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Schmeichel having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Alberto Scutti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute Ludwig Wassenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corrado Spitaleri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damian Pluciennik hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. A throw-in in the 38th minute of the game was made by Michal Beninda with Arrigo Meo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Alberto Scutti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute, Dariusz Wos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Corrado Spitaleri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberto Scutti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, A.C. Patagonia's Szymon Jaszyna got a free kick in the 54th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Borgo Doria F.C.'s Fabio Bottone sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peter Schmeichel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 61st minute of the match, Dariusz Wos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Corrado Spitaleri saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Corrado Spitaleri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Wos in the 69th minute of play. A.C. Patagonia's Aldo Di Carlo was substituted for Dariusz Wos. A.C. Patagonia made a substitution. Gustav Siöman replaced Ludwig Wassenius. A.C. Patagonia's Sylwester Sroka was substituted for Marcin Cebula. In the 74th minute A.C. Patagonia were awarded a corner. Rui Costa went to the cornerflag to take it. Corrado Spitaleri was a little too slow when Aldo Di Carlo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-6. Gustav Siöman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Corrado Spitaleri made a huge save. 90 minutes into the match, Borgo Doria F.C.'s goalkeeper Corrado Spitaleri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustav Siöman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Di Carlo in the 91st minute of play forced Borgo Doria F.C.'s goalkeeper Corrado Spitaleri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 96 minutes of play, A.C. Patagonia's Aldo Di Carlo made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Corrado Spitaleri was left in no man's land by his defense there! The A.C. Patagonia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing A.C. Patagonia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
