When Ferdinando Di Camillo came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Coriano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinando Di Camillo couldn't finish the play. As Melfi 1929's Alvaro Brandini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinando Di Camillo in the 41st minute of play. In the 42ndth minute of the game Ferdinando Di Camillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but As Melfi 1929's Alvaro Brandini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinando Di Camillo in the 46th minute of play forced As Melfi 1929's goalkeeper Alvaro Brandini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ferdinando Di Camillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Coriano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinando Di Camillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Ferdinando Di Camillo notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of As Melfi 1929's Alvaro Brandini. Alvaro Brandini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Damiano Di Nucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. In the 88th minute, Ferdinando Di Camillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvaro Brandini was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. A collision led to As Melfi 1929 getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Domenico Bonfigli hit a great ball. Dino Baciadonne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Ferdinando Di Camillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvaro Brandini was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Coriano FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
