Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Samir Afacan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Antonello Ranieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Levent Hicran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Levent Hicran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonello Ranieri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. San Mauro A Mare FC were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Stintino FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fan Liang Chong took the corner. Fan Liang Chong made a great header on San Mauro A Mare FC's corner, it was just that Stintino FC's Antonello Ranieri managed to reach the ball for a save. Antonello Ranieri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Graziani, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute Levent Hicran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonello Ranieri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Levent Hicran made a kick off. A nice corner shot did that Fan Liang Chong got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Antonello Ranieri quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ciccio Di Loreto's late challenge caught a Stintino FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciccio Di Loreto helped the player get up and apologised. Ciccio Di Loreto kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Adriano Trasatti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samir Afacan having to interfere. In the 76th minute Alberto Iezzi suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francesco Cremonese during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Stintino FC booed when San Mauro A Mare FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francesco Cremonese didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alvise Vittorio came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Stintino FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvise Vittorio couldn't finish the play. Alex Orsi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonello Ranieri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Stintino FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fan Liang Chong was slow to take the kick. During this time San Mauro A Mare FC's players had a chance to rest. The referee felt a red card was in order, 85 minutes into the game, when Cristiano Patricelli put in a rough tackle. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for San Mauro A Mare FC!
