In the 36th minute, Bernardo Antonelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the game, Elia Ritacco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carloforte f.c.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Orange the free kick. A collision led to Carloforte f.c. getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Elia Ritacco hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Carloforte f.c. defense, Amos Corsi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waclaw Zajonc. The Carloforte f.c. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waclaw Zajonc should have stopped the shot. Lennart Härm hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Óscar Cordobé took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Antonelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Ettore Brunetta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Óscar Cordobé. Orange's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ettore Brunetta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amos Corsi to make the kick off. Lennart Härm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Óscar Cordobé made a huge save. Sergi Naranjo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waclaw Zajonc having to interfere. Orange's Óscar Cordobé proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Orange from getting a goal against them. Waclaw Zajonc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amos Corsi in the 55th minute of the match. Óscar Cordobé was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. 63 minutes into the match, Carloforte f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Elequemedo came free, but Waclaw Zajonc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristoforo Lepori was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 85 minutes into the match. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Orange! A collision led to Orange getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Sergi Naranjo hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute Bernardo Antonelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Óscar Cordobé saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 minutes Orange's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ciro Donati who took care of the corner kick. Óscar Cordobé showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Pozzoli, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. A collision led to Carloforte f.c. getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Arrigo Guidoni hit a great ball. Carloforte f.c. played a much better game than Orange and deserved their victory. The Orange players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
